To be eligible for FHA insurance, your manufactured (mobile) home must be on an FHA-approved permanent foundation.

A registered professional engineer must inspect and certify that the foundation complies with the Permanent Foundations Guide for Manufactured Housing (1996).

Olson, Black & Associates, Inc. offers Professional Engineer's Certification of Manufactured Home Foundations. All inspection work is done in accordance with the HUD manual, Permanent Foundations Guide for Manufactured Housing dated September, 1996.  After the site inspection has been successfully completed, we will issue a certification of compliance, indicating that the Manufactured or Mobile Home has complied with the HUD/FHA guidelines.
